Tachanka is a horse-drawn spring wagon equipped with a mounted machine gun firing backward. It has been known since 1890. They were most often harnessed with two or four horses. During the Russian Civil War, the fronts were often greatly extended, and cavalry, which had previously been used mainly for reconnaissance and raids behind enemy lines, began to be used for breakthroughs in weakly defended sections of the front. Such cavalry units were often equipped with tachankas to reinforce saber attacks. This is a very complex and beautifully detailed model, which even includes parts for five horses. Everything present on a real tachanka is represented in the model. This model is for professionals.
