In 1962, the Riga Carriage Building Factory began producing ER2 electric trains, consisting of two-car sections. The trainsets were formed from pairs of cars made up of three types: the "head," the motor car, and the intermediate car. The only combinations were "head" + motor car, and motor + intermediate cars. These trains were produced until 1984, with over 4,000 sections manufactured, which were assembled into 850 trains of various lengths. This is a beautifully designed and excellently detailed model. The only more difficult parts to glue are the complex shape of the front section and the running gear. The interior is fully reproduced: the driver's cab, vestibules, passenger compartment, restrooms, and the exterior and running gear are excellently rendered; there are also details for the track bed and rails. The drawings and written instructions are fully sufficient to assemble a beautiful model, but you should strictly follow the assembly sequence specified in the written instructions. This model is intended for modelers with intermediate experience and skill.
