The Minerva Armoured Car was one of the first armored vehicles deployed in WWI. Based on the civilian Minerva 30HP chassis, it was quickly adapted by the Belgian Army in 1914 for reconnaissance and support roles. Its open-top design, machine gun mount, and mobility made it effective in early skirmishes and urban combat. Despite its limitations, it marked a turning point in mechanized warfare and inspired later armored car designs across Europe.
