Vltava" (Czech: Vltava) is a historic Czech steam-powered cruise ship. The vessel made its maiden voyage in 1940 and is still in operation today! The ship is 53 meters long and 5 meters wide. It can accommodate up to 200 passengers on board. Currently, the vessel serves as a cruise and excursion steamboat, providing tourist transportation along the Vltava River to the capital of the Czech Republic—Prague—and its immediate surroundings. It is worth adding that "Vltava" is one of only two surviving cruise liners of this type in the Czech Republic. Naturally, since 1940, the vessel has undergone several repairs, with the most recent (completely successful) one taking place in 2009. In 1991, the ship underwent a major modernization and a spacious restaurant was added. As a curiosity, it is worth noting that Vltava participated in the steamboat "rally" in Dresden in 2011 and 2014.
