The new Ford Fusion sports car for NASCAR racing was introduced in 2013. This car was built by the Roush Fenway Racing team and competed in the top division of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The car is designed in the style of the new generation Ford Fusion sedan and is as close as possible to the civilian version. In 2012, the Ford Fusion underwent intensive testing and debuted at the 2013 Daytona 500 marathon. Behind the wheel was Ryan Blaney. Ryan Blaney won 14 races in the previous generation Ford Fusion with number 21 and finished 2nd in the NASCAR Sprint Cup championship in 2009. The Ford Fusion also set several records at the Daytona International Speedway, including the lap time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup race.
A beautifully designed and excellently detailed medium-complexity model for modelers of any level, except for complete beginners. Although the model is of medium complexity, it is intended to be assembled using the "edge-to-edge" gluing method and is quite challenging. However, by making additional glue tabs from thin paper, the assembly process can be significantly simplified, and even modelers with little experience and beginners working under the guidance of a more experienced colleague will be able to build such a model without much difficulty. You can choose not to detail the engine compartment and cockpit interior, as well as make the windows opaque, but this will significantly reduce the model’s visual appeal and competitiveness. The written instructions are brief and contain only general guidelines; the graphical instructions are also not very extensive, but they explain the entire assembly process in great detail. The drawings are excellently drafted, easy to read, and informative. There are no spare colors; where necessary, parts are printed double-sided.
