H-5 — American four-seat multipurpose helicopter, a modernization of the R-4, with improved payload capacity, increased reliability, speed, and ceiling. S-51 — civilian modification of the helicopter. Built by the Sikorsky Aero Engineering Corporation. The H-5/S-51 first flew on February 16, 1946. This helicopter was the first to be equipped with an autopilot, which significantly simplified control. A total of 379 H-5/S-51 helicopters were built. The aircraft was widely used by the US armed forces and several other countries.
The model is simple and therefore also intended for beginner modelers. The paper model comes with instructions in Slovak and consists of numbered parts. It is printed using offset printing on A4 sheets. Offset printing is a technology in which ink is applied to paper using a rubber roller, as it adheres better to the irregularities of the paper and allows even the smallest details to be printed. The ink does not spread or peel off during further work. The model is printed on paper with a density of 140 g/m².
The model is of medium complexity and is therefore also intended for modelers with little experience.
